Day nine, Guernsey State Park, an omen of good luck

Annie found a feather on the walk tonight and brought it into our tent, that is, Grenadier. I will take that as a good sign, a peace offering from the Lakota at one time occupied the territory for thousands of years, until they were cruelly forced off their land.

    9/17 12:45AM the Chat says this feather is most likely that of a Great Horned Owl ( Bubo virginianus ).
