This is one of the very reasons that I took this trip, just to visit this site. I suggest looking it up on Wikipedia, but also include the name DONNER so the right place comes up. If there are two places, one should see on the Donner party trail. This is one of them. We’re now on our way to a campsite in Nebraska for the night
