Traveling on the road is really quite pleasant from independence to Springfield as I am traveling all of the back roads, the local roads, following the past that the Donner party probably took. ChatGPT has done an excellent job in mapping out the route that they took on the first leg of their journey, a task no one else has accomplished. I just found this lovely park just west of Paris, Missouri that Annie enjoyed.
